Resurfacing Project to Begin on Route 616 in York County
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today a resurfacing project is scheduled to begin on Route 616 (Trinity Road) in York County. The project limits extend from Robin Hood Drive at the New Salem Borough line in North Codorus Township to Route 30 in West Manchester Township.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 6. There will be lane restrictions under daylight flagging. This may cause delays. Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This project consists of milling, resurfacing, base repairs, drainage updates and other miscellaneous construction.
JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs is the contractor on this $1,584,645 project. All work is expected to be completed by August 21, 2026.
